Daaaaayyyyy sseeevvvveeennn

Menu
Breakfast-eggs with turkey salami and 1/2 avocad
Lunch - see yesterdays post (1 chicken breast with root veggies -yum)
Snack - banana chips (scratch that since Dave took them all) so... almonds right before bootcamp.
Dinner- Paleo shrimp scampi with spaghetti squash. I'm making this paleo by using olive oil instead of butter and LOTS of garlic - vampires beware. This will be poured over the spaghetti squash, but I 'll add a marinara sauce over this to add some different flavors and nutrients. The colors will also be really boring if it's just pink and orange.

Daaayyyyy 6

Rainy day activity...

This was my entire workout today. These will be headed to soldiers stationed overseas tomorrow.

MENU FOR DAY
Breakfast: scrambled eggs with chicken sausage and mushrooms.
Lunch: turkey salami and 1 peach
Snack: Dried veggies and banana chips
Dinner is about the only exciting meal today. There was a change in menu since the rains. It feels like a roasted rosemary chicken day with roasted yams and sweet pototoes. Wouldn't you agree?

So here's the complicated recipe:

Take a free range chicken and shove some rosemary sprigs and garlic under the skin. Coat it with olive oil. Chop up the root veggies and throw it into the pan. Then throw it into a 350 degree oven. After an episode of Stargate and P. Allen Smith, check to see if it is cooked.

And to make my life easier, this will also be lunch for tomorrow. Boy that was diffcult :)
