Saturday's train wasn't as quick as I had hoped. In fact, it was slower than my last 5K up there.
Round 1 36:16
Rest half the time
Round 2 35:30
Neither of those are qualifying times.
Time hack - Round 1 was 21:00 to the gates
Round 2 was 20:48

8 miles
Again-another note to self-remember to bring your watch on a run....especially if it's a time trial. DUH!
Well at least Dave brought his and gave me my time
8 miles-1:18
= 9:45 pace
I don't know if the lack of a watch was a good thing or a bad thing. I was dying to know what my time was at certain points, even though I didn't know the mile marker at those points. So I really don't know what good that would have done me, but I was still wanting to look for a time.
I'm surprised at the pace. I really thought it felt like an 11 mm pace. Needless to say, I'm pleasantly surprised. I was just concentrating on keeping up with Beth and Lynn. Thanks ladies!

Chasing Keith
That's what I've been doing lately. I thought I had a chance when he had to stop for a pitstop. I didn't see him behind me so I thought I was safe and in the clear. Shoulda known better. Around the last 1/2 mile, I see a flash of white across the street. It's Keith taking the lead. Damm that Kiwi.
6.1 = 1:02 = 10:12 Pace
